  1. The Gardner School of Franklin worked with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to grant a wish for a Middle Tennessee child. 5-year-old Louise wanted to go to Walt Disney World Resort dressed up as her familiar characters. Louise will reportedly be making the trip in October. (Williamson Source)

  3. Efforts to change the Williamson County seal are once again on hold. The proposed changes would remove the Confederate flag from the symbol. The seal will remain unchanged until the Williamson County and the Sons of Confederate Veterans' court case is able to make its way to completion. The Tennessee Historical Commission will reportedly wait to amend the symbol. (Tennessean)
