- Early Friday morning, sections of Intersection 65 were closed in Williamson County as officers were pursuing two vehicles that were suspected to be part of car burglaries. The incident began around 4:00 a.m. near the Concord Road exit, leading to both sides of the interstate being temporarily shut down. Following the incident, officers took one person into custody, after one of the vehicles crashed and the other two occupants of that vehicle fled. More suspects also fled from the second vehicle and Franklin police believe they are potentially searching for four armed me who were last seen near General MacArthur Drive, more information is to come. - Leaders in the Nashville community as well as historians are working together to preserve a historic site in the city and convert it into a African American Museum. The "Save the Morris" movement is looking to turn this vacant historic building into an educational tribute to what African Americans have contributed to the history of Nashville. A benefit concert will be held on Jul. 15 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., headlined by hip-hop legend Grand Master Flash; all proceeds will go to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, which is working to build the museum in the building. - Earlier this week, Franklin police and Williamson County police came together to arrest Malik L. Felton. The incident occurred early Thursday morning around 1:30 a.m. when Felton was driving south on Route 37 going nearly 90 miles per hour. Officers continued to pursue Felton through Franklin and Williamson County until he stopped at an intersection in Johnston City and attempted to flee on foot before he was caught shortly after. He is currently being held in Franklin County Detention Center and is facing several charges. (WSIL TV)

- Franklin police are hoping these new TBI sketches will help them find the two suspects responsible for a Franklin carjacking on Jun. 26. This good Samaritan was sadly taken advantage of, and the force is determined to serve justice, but also hopes a situation like this doesn't dissuade the community from helping each other.
