- Williamson County is searching for new bus drivers and bus assistants to work in the county and make a difference in students' lives. This coming Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., the WCS Bus Training Center will be hosting a hiring event to talk to prospective applicants and host some on-site interviews. This is also a great opportunity for applicants to get a tour of the bus garage, speak with mechanics, and get a feel for what could be their future workplace. The training center is located on West Main Street in Franklin. (Williamson Source)
- An accident happened on Thursday afternoon that resulted in two teens from Franklin being hit by a car in Cool Springs while walking through a crosswalk. Around 5:00 p.m. three teens were crossing the street on Cool Springs Boulevard with the right of way when a car came through and hit two of the three teens. These injured teens were immediately taken to Children's Hospital and appear to be in stable condition, the driver stopped to assist the injured teens and initial reports from the police indicated there was no drug impairment. Thursday was the last day of school so more foot traffic was expected near neighborhoods so it was recommended to be more vigilant to avoid these situations. No charges have been filed as the case is still being investigated. (News Channel 5 Nashville)
- The famous fried chicken fast food chain Raising Cane's is making its way to Nashville and opening its first location in the city this coming Wednesday. The restaurant will be located on White Bridge Pike in Belle Meade and will operate as earlier as 10:00 a.m. seven days a week with both a drive-thru and outdoor seating. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held in honor of the grand opening as well as a competition where 20 people β 13 and older β will be awarded free chicken for a year on the morning of the grand opening. The restaurant is excited to finally make its way to Music City and find a new fan base addicted to the delicious chicken. (News Channel 5 Nashville)
