  1. Franklin's new Palmetto Moon location will be opening on Saturday, Aug. 13. The location is hosting a special grand opening celebration between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. There will be a one-hour break in the celebration between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. The first 200 shoppers through the door will receive a complimentary YETI 12-ounce Rambler.   2. The Franklin Noon Rotary celebrated its latest achievements during its annual banquet. The organization celebrated a record revenue from the 71st annual Rodeo event in May. Armando Estrada has been appointed the club's president for 2022-2023. He will reportedly focus on making sure the club benefits members. (williamsonherald.com)
  3. Early voting in Williamson County will end on Jul. 30. As of Tuesday, only 5.4 percent of registered voters in the county have voted. This is a historically low percentage. In 2018, 13.9 percent of the county's registered voters cast an early ballot. (Williamson Herald)
