  1. The franklin-based company Nissan North America announced a third-party data breach leaked the personal information of around 18,000 customers. The company is notifying customers who may have had their information exposed and offering one-year identity theft protection for affected customers. The customer information included customers' names, birth dates, and account numbers but no credit cards or social security numbers. (CPO Magazine)
  2. A new Korean restaurant is coming to Franklin. MI Kitchen is slated to open sometime in February at 9050 Carothers Pkwy #104. The restuarant will offer tapas-style Korean food alongside cocktails and a selection of Asian spirits. (Williamson Source)
  3. The Franklin Police Department is hiring part-time school crossing guards. The position will help oversee safety and traffic flow at the city's school zones. The starting pay for the position is $20.29 per hour. Interested applicants can learn more here. (Williamson Source)
