Here are the top three stories in Franklin today:

  1. Studio Tenn announced that it would make The Factory at Franklin its new permanent home. The new theater, the Turner Theater, will be completed in August 2023, just in time for Studio Tenn's season to begin in October. The upcoming season will be the first time all Studio Tenn performances will occur in one location. (Williamson Source)
  2. Franklin police are searching for a man accused of stealing lamps and items from a Franklin shop. Video shows the alleged thief taking items on three occasions from Abby Leigh Gifts in Berry Farms. Police are offering a cash reward for information leading to the thief's identification. (WKRN News 2)
  3. Franklin's Bricks Cafe has closed. Although there is no signage on the location or a social media post or notice on the website mentioning the closure, the tables inside the Fieldstone Parkway location have been removed. The cafe is also listed online as permanently closed. (Williamson Source)
