  1. The Franklin Special School District has issued a requirement for all seventh grade students to receive the Tdap booster vaccine. Each student must have a vaccination record on a Tennessee Certificate of Immunization Form. The form needs to be submitted to the school before Friday, Aug. 5. If a student does not have a complete vaccination form, they will not be allowed to start the 2022-2023 school year. (Press Release Desk)
  2. A downtown Franklin dental office has had its sign stolen. The Franklin Police Department is currently investigating the theft that occurred over the 4th of July weekend. The Taylor Made Smiles Cosmetic and Family Dentistry sign is valued at $3,000. Anyone with information about the theft is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers for a cash reward.   3. The Franklin Police Department is searching for two suspects that pepper-sprayed a security guard. The incident occurred in a Cool Springs Academy Sports store. The two suspects are known to be aggressive and repeat fraud offenders. Anyone with information on the two suspects is asked to contact Crime Stoppers immediately. (WKRN News 2)
