Germantown Invests in Advanced Tech for First Responders, Mayor Emphasizes Enhanced Safety and Efficiency (hoodline.com) — Germantown officials have approved more than $220,000 in new technology and equipment to help police, fire, and utility crews respond faster and more safely. Seventeen upgraded in-vehicle computers and new emergency gear for eight police vehicles will modernize daily operations while recycling older units to reduce waste.
