19-Year-Old Sought In La Vergne Shooting

A 19-year-old is wanted following a shooting outside a La Vergne apartment complex.

LA VERGNE, TN -- One man was injured and another is on the run following a Wednesday night shooting outside a La Vergne apartment complex.

La Vergne Police say the victim and 19-year-old Jason Hill were having some kind of altercation at the Kingsridge Apartments when Hill shot the other man around 7 p.m. and fled the scene.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Hill is a biracial man and was wearing a red t-shirt with white lettering, dark sweat pants and carrying a semi-automatic handgun.

Hill left the scene in a silver four-door Nissan with an unidentified white female. He is considered armed and dangerous and currently has a warrant out for his arrest and faces aggravated assault and reckless endangerment charges in connection to the Wednesday night shooting.
