Car Strikes Teen Walking Home From School in La Vergne

14-year-old taken to hospital with injuries to his face and head, according to media reports.

LA VERGNE, TN — A teen was struck walking home from school Monday in La Vergne, according to media reports.

The boy, 14, was at the corner of Floyd Mayfield Drive and Sand Hill Road when he was hit, according to WSMV.

The teen was taken to The Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt with injuries to his face and head, reports News Channel 5.
