Guns Stolen In Smyrna Pawn Shop Break-In

Several long guns were taken from a Smyrna pawn shop during a break-in early Friday.

SMYRNA, TN -- Several long guns were stolen from a Smyrna pawn shop during a break-in early Friday morning.

Police say two male suspects broke the front window of the Kwik Kash Pawn Shop on Enon Springs Road around 2 a.m., took the guns and fled. Nothing else was stolen.

The suspects were both wearing hooded sweatshirts. One wore white pants and the other dark pants.

Nearly 200 guns were stolen from gun stores and pawn shops in the last six months of 2017 with the Nashville office of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives saying that many of them ended up involved in street crimes after thieves sold them or traded them for drugs.
