Join Friends of Smyrna Library

Please consider joining our nonprofit which helps support Smyrna Public Library.

Friends of Smyrna Library is a local nonprofit which supports the Smyrna Public Library. Members participate by volunteering, serving on our board and providing the library with additional funding through donations, used book sales, and grant writing. The library is a valuable resource to the community and is always in need of help to support its program and events.

Why join FOSL when asked what are the benefits?
1. "Souper" Saturday Membership Drive in January-where we serve free soup and crackers to those who attend to encourage membership in FOSL and a Soup Contest. (January)
2. RUN TO READ FUN RUN-members participate and/or volunteer to help with event – ()
3. Members work the FOSL Booth at Smyrna Depot Days (September)
4. FOSL Annual Local Author Fair
5. SPL's Annual Scholastic Book Fair-FOSL members provide manpower this Smyrna Library event (November/December)
6. Mystery Dinner -Volunteer or purchase tickets to attend.
To be on our FOSL Board, you must be a member and ready to work. Want to be on our board, request a board application today!
FOSL membership fees are tax deductible!
We do not share our member contact list with others but if a business/organization were to join, we could make a post on our Facebook page and Instagram to welcome them and to recognize them along with their logo if they provided one.
