La Vergne Police Search For 'Violent Sex Offender'
La Vergne Police are searching for a convicted rapist who removed his monitoring device.
LA VERGNE, TN -- A convicted rapist tampered with his monitoring device over the weekend, leading La Vergne Police to urge people to keep a look out.
Adrean Jones, 25, is considered a violent sex offender. He is 5-feet-11-inches tall and weighs 205 pounds. He has multiple face and neck tattoos. Police believe he could be with Kiara Kennedy, 27, who has a Nashville address.
The last locations detected by Jones' monitoring device were in Smyrna along Sam Ridley Parkway and Interstate 24 around the hotels, gas stations and Stone Crest Hospital; and in La Vergne along Stones River Road and Murfreesboro Road on foot. His last known address in La Vergne was in the area of Rutherford Point Drive along Floyd Mayfield Drive.

He and Kennedy are known to stay at area hotels for brief periods of time.
