La Vergne Police Still Searching For Thanksgiving Home Invaders

A group of men impersonating police busted into a La Vergne home on Thanksgiving and remain on the lam.

LA VERGNE, TN -- La Vergne police are still searching for a group of men who impersonated police during a Thanksgiving home invasion.

Investigators say three to four men yelled "Police!" before kicking in the door of a Tom Hailey Road home Thanksgiving morning. A woman was lying in bed with her 1-year-old son; she told police she was forced out of her bedroom into the living room at the end of a rifle. Her mother and father were already lying on the floor.

The thieves then ransacked the home, stealing $300 and a cell phone. The men were wearing police vests and masks.
