Pair Robs La Vergne Motel At Knifepoint

Two people robbed a La Vergne Ramada Wednesday night, police say.

LA VERGNE, TN -- La Vergne Police are searching for two men wanted for robbing a hotel Wednesday night.

Investigators say the pair entered the Ramada Inn at Interstate 24 and Waldron Road around 8:15 p.m. Wednesday. One man climbed over the counter, threatening the clerk with a knife and taking money from the cash drawer.

The pair then ran out of the lobby, driving off in a metallic blue four-door sedan.

One man wore a dark hoodie, grey sweatpants and white tennis shoes. The other was wearing a red University of Alabama t-shirt, dark sweatpants and a dark hoodie.
