Trio Carjack Truck With Teen Inside: La Vergne Police
La Vergne Police are searching for three people who stole an pickup Saturday night with a 13-year-old girl inside.

LA VERGNE, TN -- Three men stole a pickup from outside a La Vergne convenience store Saturday night and forced a 13-year-old girl who was inside when it was taken to jump from the truck at gunpoint.
According to La Vergne Police, the owner of a 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche went inside the Mapco on Waldron Road while his 13-year-old daughter waited in the truck. While the dad was inside the store, three men jumped into the truck and drove away, eventually forcing the teenager to jump from the truck a short distance away after threatening to shoot her, according to investigators.
The Avalanche was last seen traveling down Waldron Road going south towards Smyrna or Nolensville.

The Avalanche is red with Tennessee tag 051-MQK. It has a front license plate that says "Meharry MMC." The truck has a driver's side step rail, but not one on the passenger side.
Anyone who sees the Avalanche or who can help identify the three suspects is asked to call the La Vergne Police Department at 615-793-7744.
