Wilson County School Board member arrested, accused of indecent exposure (wsmv.com) — Lebanon Police have arrested Wilson County School Board member Donnell Self on two counts of indecent exposure, in a case they say is still under active investigation. Self represents Zone 5, which includes Lebanon High School and several nearby schools, and Wilson County Schools say they’re aware of the charges but are not commenting further yet.
   

2. We re-ranked all 137 TSSAA football teams in Nashville area after 2025 season (tennessean.com subscription) — Lebanon High’s football team lands at No. 29 in the Tennessean’s end-of-season rankings of all 137 Nashville-area programs, giving locals a clear sense of how the Blue Devils stack up regionally. The list highlights state champions, playoff contenders, and where nearby rivals like Mt. Juliet and Wilson Central finished after the 2025 season.
   

3. Wilson County Mourns Loss After Fatal Crash; Charges Pending Against Driver in Hartsville Pike Tragedy (hoodline.com) — A deadly crash on Hartsville Pike near Rutledge Lane left 79-year-old Rex Lewis Adams dead and two others injured, prompting a major road closure and emergency response. The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office publicly thanked the Lebanon Police Department for managing public safety and traffic during the investigation, as charges are pending against the other driver and officials revisit local road safety concerns.
   

4. Pastors Resign From Greg Locke's Church, Allege Spiritual Abuse; Locke Disputes Claims (churchleaders.com) — A pair of online pastors have resigned from Global Vision Bible Church in Lebanon, alleging spiritual abuse and a lack of spiritual and financial accountability, while Pastor Greg Locke disputes their claims. The couple say they’ll share more in an upcoming book, and their detailed resignation letter describes what they call an unsafe culture and missing oversight at the Lebanon-based ministry.
   

5. Obit – Mrs. Kay Marie Woods (carthagecourier.com) — Lebanon residents are mourning the passing of 79-year-old Kay Marie Woods, a longtime local who called Lebanon home and worked nearly two decades at the Waffle House in Gordonsville. Her family in Lebanon and beyond will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date and request memorial donations to Bass Funeral Home to help with expenses.
