Turner Found Guilty In Memphis Basketball Star's Murder: Report
University of Memphis and NBA star Lorenzen Wright was killed in 2010. Billy Ray Turner was found guilty on all charges.
MEMPHIS, TN — A jury found Billy Ray Turner guilty on all charges in connection to the murder of Memphis basketball star and NBA player Lorenzen Wright on Monday, according to a report from Action News 5 Memphis.
Turner was found guilty of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, according to the report. The verdict comes more than a decade after Wright's body was found in southeast Memphis in the summer of 2010.
