• Maryville High School names 19th football coach in program history (wate.com) — A Maryville High School football assistant with roots in Morristown West High School has been promoted to lead one of East Tennessee’s powerhouse programs. Kenny Cobble, a former Jefferson County head coach and Maryville College player, becomes Maryville’s 19th head coach, taking over after Derek Hunt’s successful nine-year run that included two state titles.
