MTSU lowers university flag to half-staff in memory of professor found dead last week (wsmv.com) — Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro has lowered its university flag to half-staff in memory of sociology professor Ashleigh McKinzie, who was recently found dead in DeKalb County. While investigators continue looking into the circumstances of her death, MTSU is urging students, faculty, and staff to use campus counseling and employee assistance resources, as well as the 988 lifeline, for emotional support.
