Visitors pack local streets for cruises, test tracks, and quirky “ducking” traditions, while local clubs and businesses help turn the summer gathering into a major boost for the city’s tourism economy.
   

• Region 3A names All Region Teams (themountainpress.com) — Pigeon Forge football standouts earned major Region 1-3A honors, with quarterback Ayden Hood sharing Co-Offensive Player of the Year and Max Cable named Specialist of the Year. The all-region lists also spotlight Gatlinburg-Pittman’s historic season and recognize top performers from several neighboring schools.
