Senior standouts like Josie Boyd, Campbell Gill, and Hicks Hunter led the way in front of a loud home crowd, with both teams now heading to Fairview for their final games before Christmas break. 
• Cheatham County, TN mother rescues children as fire destroys home (wkrn.com) — A Cheatham County mother and her children escaped a devastating house fire on Neptune Road, with the Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department among the first responders. The blaze, one of three recent county fires, destroyed their home but spared their lives, and neighbors, churches, and the Red Cross are now rallying donations and support as the family starts over before Christmas.
