• Red Cross Urges Blood, Platelet Donations (mainstreetmediatn.com) — Pulaski residents can give blood at STRHS Pulaski on December 22, helping shore up the Red Cross supply during a critical holiday shortage. Donors of all blood types, especially O and B negative, are urged to schedule appointments, with gift card and T‑shirt incentives available on select dates and additional drives planned in nearby Giles, Lawrence, and Maury counties.
   

• Milton Hood (radio7media.com) — Pulaski-area friends are mourning Goodspring resident Milton Hood, 85, who passed away Friday at STRHS in Pulaski. A retired Stanley Tools employee, he was known for his love of the outdoors and yard work; he is survived by his wife Cora Lee, son Mark, and extended family, with no services scheduled at this time.
