• Commission discusses burial of unclaimed human remains (claiborneprogress.net) — Claiborne County commissioners have accepted a $40,000 aging-services grant that will send $20,000 in building upgrades to the Tazewell Senior Citizens Center and another $20,000 to Harrogate’s center. The meeting also covered burial plans for unclaimed cremated remains, a new emergency helicopter landing pad in Speedwell, added walk-in clinic hours, and several law-enforcement and justice-center budget amendments.
