These Texas Cities Top The List Of Fattest In America

A new WalletHub study ranks several Texas cities among the most overweight in the U.S.

TEXAS — A new study from WalletHub ranks McAllen, Texas, as the most overweight city in the United States, highlighting high obesity rates, physical inactivity, and related health concerns.

Several other Texas cities also placed high on the list, including San Antonio (13th), El Paso (20th), Dallas (24th), and Houston (33rd).

The study analyzed 100 metro areas based on obesity rates, health consequences, and access to healthy food and fitness opportunities.

While McAllen topped the list, other cities—such as Austin (49th) and Dallas (24th)—ranked lower, showing a more mixed picture for Texas as a whole.
