• Breath of Life Church hosting Christmas Community Lunch (alvinsun.net) — A free Christmas Community Lunch is coming up this Thursday, Dec. 18, at Breath of Life Community Church, with Alvin Meals on Wheels volunteers helping serve drive-through hot meals. Starting at 11:30 a.m., Joe’s BBQ will provide first-come, first-served plates as volunteers direct traffic from Kost Street so residents can easily pick up lunch without leaving their cars.
