• Baytown police officer faces multiple charges after crash that killed 2 children, critically injured 2 others (khou.com) — A Baytown police officer has been indicted on manslaughter and aggravated assault charges after an October crash that killed two children and critically injured two siblings at West Baker Road and Country Club Drive. Investigators say he was speeding without lights or siren while responding to a call. The officer is out on bond and remains on medical leave as the investigation continues. 
• 12 charged in Baytown for Solicitation of Prostitution (cw39.com) — Baytown police recently arrested 12 men in a targeted sting aimed at reducing demand for prostitution and related human trafficking in the city. All face state jail felony solicitation charges, with two also accused of weapons and drug offenses. Residents are urged to report suspected trafficking to Baytown PD or submit anonymous tips online.
• Beeville goes 3–2 at Alice Tournament, Martorell earns all-tournament honors (kten.com) — Baytown hoops fans will notice Baytown Lee handed Beeville a 55–42 loss during the Alice Tournament, one of Beeville’s two defeats in a 3–2 showing. Beeville’s Brayden Martorell scored 27 in that matchup and earned all-tournament honors after several standout performances across the three-day event.
