• Bullard ISD begins search for new superintendent (tylerpaper.com) — Bullard ISD has officially launched its search for a new superintendent, with the job posting already live and interviews planned for February. Trustees have hired a search firm, named an interim superintendent, and will seek input from Bullard community members and staff in January before selecting a lone finalist.
   

• More info revealed about Bullard standoff (ktbb.com) — Law enforcement records are shedding more light on a deadly SWAT standoff involving a Bullard man earlier this month. Investigators say neighbors feared he was trying to provoke officers into shooting him, and state reports indicate he fired multiple weapons before ultimately killing himself as Texas Rangers continue their review.
