• Burnet County to form transmission line opposition committee (dailytrib.com) — Burnet County commissioners are creating a committee of officials, employees, and residents to coordinate opposition to a massive 765-kV transmission line that would cross northern Burnet County. The group will plan outreach to state leaders and organize community efforts as routes are studied for 15‑story towers carrying high‑voltage lines from Bell County to West Texas.
