Here are the top three stories today in Cedar Park-Leander:
- Lone Star Paving will begin work this summer resurfacing a 7.9-mile stretch of SH 45 North, between Pecan Park Boulevard in Cedar Park and I-35. The $7.1 million project is expected to take about five months to complete. (Texas Department of Transportation)
- At the May 26 meeting, Cedar Park City Council approved construction contracts for the second phase of the Brushy Creek Regional Utility Authority deep water intake project. Leander and Round Rock city councils had previously approved the selected contractor, a $224.78 million joint venture between Thalle Construction Company and SAK Construction. Cedar Park City Council pledged $65.09 million and Leander City Council pledged $96.32 million. (Community Impact Newspaper)
