• Brazos County District Attorney among 21 members appointed to Family Violence Criminal Homicide Prevention Task Force (kbtx.com) — A Cedar Park resident, Megan Bermea, has been appointed to a new statewide Family Violence Criminal Homicide Prevention Task Force, giving the city a voice in shaping Texas’ response to family violence. She joins 20 other experts from across the state who will study risk factors, guide training, and recommend policies to better protect survivors.

• Admirals lose to Stars, Milwaukee's losing streak reaches 8 games (fox6now.com) — AHL fans in Cedar Park saw the Texas Stars surge to a 3-0 first-period lead and finish off Milwaukee 5-2 at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park. The win extends the Admirals’ losing streak to eight games, despite two late Milwaukee goals. Milwaukee now heads into a weeklong break before hosting Grand Rapids on Dec. 27.
