Here are the top three stories today in Cedar Park-Leander:

1. Firefly Aerospace, headquartered in Cedar Park, is "an emerging leader in economical launch vehicles, spacecraft, and in-space services." AE Industrial Partners, LP (AEI) announced on Mar. 22 that it led a $75 million Series B financing round in Firefly Aerospace. The investment will support future Alpha flights, the Blue Ghost Lunar Lander Program, and the development of additional launch and in-space solutions. (PR Newswire)
2. On Monday, Mar. 28, Via 313 will open its Cedar Park location in the 1890 Ranch shopping center. The Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce will host an official ribbon-cutting ceremony for its grand opening at 1335 E. Whitestone Blvd. Ste. 200. On Mar. 30, Via 313 will donate 50 percent of its sales from the day to the Yellow House Foundation, a nonprofit which provides a safe place for individuals and their families in the Williamson County area as they recover from substance use disorder. 3. On Monday, Mar. 21, the roof of the PetSmart in Round Rock was destroyed which caused flooding. The animals inside were rescued by Texas Humane Heroes, a no-kill adoption center, and safely relocated to the Cedar Park PetSmart. (KVUE)
