Active Aging Exercise Class Promotes Health, Injury Prevention

The 30-minute online class is designed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy to meet the fitness needs of aging adults.

CEDAR PARK, TX — Cedar Park area seniors are invited to a virtual fitness class designed to improve strength, balance and endurance, and the only piece of equipment you'll need is a chair. The live online fitness class offers a 30-minute workout suitable for all levels.

Designed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy, the Active Aging Exercise Class scheduled Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 2 p.m. specializes in meeting the fitness needs of older adults. The class promotes health and injury prevention, and makes it easier for older adults to perform everyday actives. A chair is needed for seated exercises or for support while standing.
