Area Church, Resource Center Offer Service Opportunities

CEDAR PARK, TX —Austin Christian Fellowship (ACF) in partnership with the Christian Resource Center (CRC) will offer a Christmas Store for families receiving services through ministries on the Twin Lake Fellowship campus and/or benevolence ministries of supporting churches. ACF invites the community to help with various opportunities to serve beginning Wednesday, Dec. 11 - Saturday, Dec. 14 from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

The Christmas Store will give parents the chance to purchase new gifts for the children at a low cost, and have them gift wrapped at the wrapping station so presents are ready to be placed under the tree at home. There will be fun activities for kids to participate in while parents shop. Serving at the Christmas Store will be an opportunity for the community to come together and help one another in the spirit of the season.

Serving opportunities include:

• Toy Donation: 2,500 new, unwrapped toys are needed for infants - teens
• Receive and sort toys
• Be personal shoppers, stockers, present-wrappers and kids activity helpers
• Serve cookies and hot cocoa to families
• Pray with parents for one-on-one encouragement

Gift tags may be picked up at the church and bring back the corresponding new, unwrapped gift to any of the weekend services on Saturday, Dec. 7 and Sunday, Dec. 8.
