Artists Invited To Submit Work For Cedar Park Sculpture Garden

CEDAR PARK, TEXAS — Calling all artists: City officials seek entries from artists hoping to have their work displayed for one year at the sculpture garden.

The sculpture garden is located at 1435 Main St., adjacent to the Cedar Park Recreation Center in Town Center neighborhood. The sculpture garden yields a great opportunity for artists to help beautify the community while simultaneously promoting their work, officials note. The garden will feature plaques placed next to each selected piece, providing information about the piece and its creator. Brochures with pictures and information about the selected pieces will be produced and distributed throughout the area.

Moreover, the garden will also be promoted on the municipal website and social media pages, adding more exposure to artists' work.

To have your work considered for display, fill out the Sculpture Garden Exhibit Application and submit digital photos of each piece (or digital photos of a scale model), no later than June 3. Return it via email to Kimberly.Reese@cedarparktexas.gov.
