Attorney RC Pate Educates DWI Lawyers on Ethics

Attorney Robert “RC” Pate, who focuses on DWI and criminal defense, recently spoke at a Texas DWI Defense Lawyers Associated event about DWI defense ethics. “DWI is the only crime in Texas for which a person cannot receive a deferred sentence,” said Pate. “Because of this, DWI representation is extremely important.”
Pate, who has an Avvo rating of 10 out of 10, spoke on ethics of discovery on scientific issues in DWI representation. “This included discovery disputes, how to handle rogue prosecutors, how to file a grievance, drug and alcohol dependence, and things every DWI lawyer should know,” said Pate, who recently received the “DWI Guru” patent from the U.S. Patent Office.

The mission of the Texas DWI Defense Lawyers Association is to provide the best DWI education a lawyer can get and establish a forum for its membership to teach.
