Austin-Based Nonprofit Launches Baked Goods Auction

CEDAR PARK, TX—BakingForGood.org, born out of the chaos of global pandemic, with focus on the idea of nonprofits helping nonprofits, will host its third virtual bake sale and raise funds for Foundation Communities, organizers said.

Austin bakers will volunteer their time to create delectable treats and participate in the auction designed to raise proceeds to provide rent relief for Austin friends and neighbors adversely affected by the pandemic.

The auction kicks off live on Monday, Sept. 2, at 8 a.m. and closes Friday, Sept. 25, at 5 p.m. Minimum bids begin at $35 and winning bidders will receive their baked goods via contactless delivery by 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27.
