Cedar Park 5K Offers Chance To Run, Get Home In Time For Dinner

Cedar Park Turkey Day 5K lets runners enjoy a morning with family, friends and neighbors, and still arrive home in time for turkey dinner.

CEDAR PARK, TX — Thanksgiving Day is about many things, but perhaps most importantly, it's about spending quality time with friends and family. To get into the spirit of the season, families and neighbors are invited to come out and take part in the Cedar Park Turkey Day 5K. This event is family-friendly and offers the opportunity to attend an event close to home with loved ones and still make it home in time for Thanksgiving Dinner. Cedar Park Turkey Day 5K takes place Thursday, Nov. 28 beginning at 9 a.m. at 200 Gupton Way Dr., Cedar Park, TX US 78613.

There will be moderate hills and some flat portions on the 5K course, and will include a Shake A Leg Mile and Kids Mile taking place inside the stadium Loop Rd. and is ideal as its no traffic coming or going. Cedar Park Police will be on hand at the major intersections, and runners will have a full lane around the course.

Chip Timed Turkey Day 5K : $27 from 9: a.m. - 11 a.m. Price increases after November 14, 2019 at 11 p.m.

Untimed Turkey Day 5K: $26 from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. Price increases after November 14, 2019 at 11 p.m.

Shake a Leg 1 Mile and Kids Mile: $17 10:15 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Registration ends November 26, 2019 at 11 p.m.
