• Governor Abbott appoints members to new task force on family violence homicide prevention (houstondaily.com) — A Cedar Park resident, Megan Bermea, has been appointed to Governor Abbott’s new statewide task force focused on preventing family-violence homicides. She’ll join 20 other experts from across Texas to analyze risk factors, guide training for professionals, and shape policy recommendations aimed at reducing deadly domestic violence.
