Private Applicator Training, Thursday, February 17, from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm Spring is just around the corner and weeds will be emerging in your rangeland shortly, so it is time to take your Private Pesticide Applicator Training. For the first time in many years, there are new herbicide active ingredients registered for weed control in pasture and rangelands. Some of the most effective weed control products must be applied very early in spring to small weeds, and in some instances even before weed seeds germinate. Note that a Private Applicator License will be required to purchase and/or apply RESTRICTED USE (RU) herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides.
