Cedar Park Chamber Of Commerce Places In Top 5 Of Central Texas Chamber Rankings

The Austin Business Journal (ABJ) recently released its 2021 List of Chambers of Commerce. Central Texas Chambers are ranked by the number of members as of June 2021. For the eighth year in a row, the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce broke into the Top 5 for Central Texas.

"This shows the continuous growth of our business community, and that Cedar Park is a great place to do business," said Tony Moline, President and Chief Executive Officer for the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce. "We maintained our number 4 spot this year and I am truly excited about the outlook for our great Chamber of Commerce." The Cedar Park Chamber was able to maintain this spot in the rankings despite a slight decrease in membership during the COVID-19 Pandemic that hurt many businesses across the region.

The survey was conducted by interviews and using the non-profit's IRS 990 filings to show the official number of members. According to the ABJ, there were a total of 13,230 members represented by list makers.

The Austin Chamber of Commerce ranked number 1 with 1,759 members, 36 paid staff and an annual budget of $6.9 million. In comparison, at number 4 the Cedar Park Chamber reported 714 members, 4 paid staff and an annual budget of $550,000.

"The stark contrast of these numbers show that the Cedar Park Chamber works hard and efficiently within its budget and staff size. To be listed with a massive chamber such as the Austin Chamber is really an honor," said Moline.
