- Cedar Park Highschool graduate Carson Neel, and two of his fellow college classmates were sentenced to five days in jail for the cover up of his friend's accidental death. Carson, along with 12 other friends were at a boat party on Lake Travis when Carson's friend Jack Elliott was accidentally pushed off the boat by Elliott's girlfriend, Delaney Brennan, being struck multiple times by the propellers. The group of friends spent less than five minutes searching for Elliott before driving the boat back to shore, equipped with false stories for investigators about what really happened to Elliott. - It's "Building Safety Month" in Cedar Park! Neighbors are welcome to participate and learn "all the tips and tools you need to help advocate for building safety in your community!
