  1. A Cedar Park junior will soon try to lead another Central Texas basketball team to victory. Gisella Maul, a junior at Cedar Park High, announced on Monday she has committed to the University of Texas. Maul is a two-time state champion who was named the Gatorade Player of the year for the state of Texas. (Austin American-Statesman)
