Cedar Park, Leander Students Honored For Academic Excellence
Six from Cedar Park and one from Leander made it onto the dean's and president's list at The University of Alabama.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — More than 12,000 students enrolled during the 2019 fall semester at The University of Alabama were named to the dean's list — including six students from Cedar Park and one from Leander.
The 12,050 students making the rarefied list had academic records of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The University of Alabama's dean's and president's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students.
The lists do not apply to graduate students or to undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

- Students from Cedar Park making the Dean's List were Matthew Graham Claflin; Madison D Neely; Sydney Elizabeth Polishook; and Kelsey Eve Schutza.
- Two others from Cedar Park make the president's list: Laurel A. Foster and Drew Kalani Summers Jr.
- From Leander, Alivia P. Sparschu was named to The University of Alabama Dean's List for fall 2019.
