Cedar Park Man Could Win $10K With His Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Fashion
Frank Cazares is among ten finalists from a field of more than 1,500 submissions vying to create the best toilet paper wedding dress.

CEDAR PARK, TX -- A wedding dress made from 35 rolls of toilet paper could make a Cedar Park resident $10,000 richer.
Frank Cazares, a cruise ship entertainer, is one of ten finalists from the 1,500-plus entrants in the 12th annual Cheap Chic Weddings Toilet Paper Wedding Dress contest sponsored by Charmin, the Austin American-Statesman. A fashion show modeling the toilet paper designs will yield the winner.
Cazares told the Statesman of the rigors inherent to the contest, allowed to use only Charmin brand toilet paper, thread, tape and glue. With those humble tools, he created a feathered look reminiscent of the glamour of Hollywood's Golden Age of the mid-20th century, he said.

All told, he spent about $90 to create his design, Cazares added.
“I love this contest, because it gets someone to think outside the box, especially on a very important wedding day,” he told the newspaper. “I’ve never been to design school, but I love theatrical things and things that capture the eye.”
