The 2022 program includes $86.6 million for transportation projects (Proposition A), $42.2 million for parks and recreation projects (Proposition B), and $30 million for a public safety project (Proposition C). Voters approve the project types, for example, transportation, but the specific projects suggested can change over time based on need. 2. On Tuesday, the Leander Fire Department tweeted a video of a firefighter handing stickers to two small children from an extended ladder atop a fire truck. The two children were in a family member’s arms on their family’s third-floor balcony in a Leander apartment complex, where the firefighters had been conducting training. The tweet said, "While out on a training exercise, the Station 1 tiller crew (C shift) had an opportunity to hand out some stickers to 2 future firefighters!" (KXAN)
