- Senate Bill 15 "prohibits college athletes from competing on a team opposite to their biological sex." Cedar Park Democrat John Bucy said he doesn't have a problem with trans athletes in sports. State Rep. Jeff Leach from Plano brought questions to Bucy, asking if he felt it was fair for biological males to compete in biological women's sports. - It's about to be the hottest time in Texas, and there's a local water park to enjoy right in Cedar Park! - Kelly Lawrence Schernik pled guilty to manslaughter after shooting and killing a man in March 2020. Schernik had an altercation with 39-year-old Jason Sean Robinson in Cedar Park that ended in him shooting Robinson, who later died of his gunshot wounds.
