Cedar Park Third Priciest For Rents In Austin Region: Report
The median cost of a one-bedroom apartment in Cedar Park is $1,120, making it the third priciest in an eight-city Austin metro region.
CEDAR PARK, TX — Cedar Park ranks as the third most expensive city among eight in the Austin metro area as it relates to rents, according to a new report.
Zumper have released the findings of its latest Austin Metro report showing the increasingly high cost of living in Cedar Park for renters even as rental costs have gone down slightly from the previous month. Researchers found the price of a one-bedroom unit fell 2.6 percent to a median of $1,120 while two-bedroom units dropped 3.1 percent to $1,540.
Still, such rents were enough to propel Cedar Park to the third position in terms of the most expensive cities for apartment dwellers.

The study found that Austin and the Williamson County seat of Georgetown have higher rents for one-bedroom apartments than those in Cedar Park, commanding $1,230 and $1,140, respectively, according to the report. Conversely, the least pricey city in the region is San Marcos, where residents can snag a one-bedroom apartment at a median $920 monthly cost, as the study shows.
Round Rock was second least expensive with median rent at $1,040, while Pflugerville ranked third with the median cost of a one-bedroom unit currently at $1,060, as illustrated in the study.
