Children’s Lighthouse Cedar Park Celebrates National Teacher Appreciation Week
Childrens Lighthouse Learning Center℠ in Cedar Park Honors Teacher Brittany Santos for Commitment to Students
Childrens Lighthouse Learning Centers℠ across the country are honoring teachers and staff during National Teacher Appreciation Week – May 7-13, 2017. The values-based early education brand held a Facebook contest for parents and families to share what they love and value most about their child’s teacher. Teachers with the most entries are being honored at each center.
Brittany Santos, who teaches 2-year-olds at Children’s Lighthouse Cedar Park, was awarded the National Teacher Appreciation Contest 2017 winner. She was given this honor for her dedication to her students’ education and development. She received glowing comments from families about her ability to help children grow in and out of the classroom.
“I’m passionate about teaching children and helping them to grow in all aspects of their lives,” Santos said. “To hear that so many parents and families have said such kind things about me means so much. I’m proud to work at Children’s Lighthouse, and all my fellow teachers here have the same desire to help children be their best. We learn from each other and take pride in making Children’s Lighthouse a great place for children to learn and develop in the early stage of their lives to better prepare them for their futures.”
