The Cedar Park Public Library has earned the Texas Municipal Library Directors Association (TMLDA) Excellence in Libraries Award.

Out of the 565 public library systems across the State of Texas, the Cedar Park Public Library is one of only 59 to earn this year's distinction.

 To earn this award, libraries must demonstrate consistent excellence and outstanding contributions to public library services within their communities

The Cedar Park Public Library earned this award by

• Enhancing services
• Marketing programs and services in innovative ways\
• Promoting cultural, topical and educational programming
• Providing literacy support, summer reading clubs and for digital inclusion
